So a quick post as we leave Stockholm and easy access to internet (the Stockholm post will come later, promise.) We’re on a ferry for two nights heading to St Petersburg with a day out in Helsinki tomorrow. Very exciting. We wanted to thank everyone so far for putting us up, dining us and calming our worries about leaving Europe!

And a special thanks to my colleagues/friends at OCF whose generous leaving gift paid for this water borne leg of the journey!

Edit: Turns out the title is not the Russian way of saying cheers – it’s a tourist trap 😛 There is no special phrase as you should toast something in particular.
